LED Replaces Halogens: LEDs only consume one-fifth the amount of power that standard halogen lights consume, making them a very sensible alternative. Since the power being consumed is lower in LEDs, they do not tend to become very hot, making them much safer than standard halogens. Many hotels, corporations’ offices and convention rooms use LEDs to replace halogen lighting applications.
